We may not see a need for an exercise or a reason to stay fit. Oooh I have that plane to catch or, I have  to be at the office by 10 or some other reason that takes us away from being healthy. But sooner or later we may fall ill physically, or have a need to take some form of medication.
 
If we have a basic knowledge of our body, we would know that our bodies are built to take care of themselves. For example we eat proteins so worn out tissues could be repaired, our immune systems fight against bacteria and all forms of foreign invasions. We need to sleep so that our minds would always be free and calm. But when all these are taken for granted, we eventually breakdown.

Today more people work in offices, have longer work hours,and are required to move less on a daily basis.
This new environment produces nonfunctional  people and the result  can be increased injury including lower back pain, knee injuries, and chronic diseases . The musculoskeletal system can be easily over trained and basically the body is deconditioned.
